i stared at this so much last night that i pretty much found all the non-intentional anatomical mistakes. ; ; i think i'll start taking a ruler to things...

just a little experiment with my style. It was fun. I quite like it actually, all things aside.

i like how you restricted the color usage to red black and white, that in effect adds alot of potential symbolic associations.
his face is pretty solid too.
and your fully aware of the anatomical issues so yeah. :dohtwo:

Thanks. (: Black, white and red is pretty much the colour palette of Fate and I like to use it where I can.

His face is fun. Girlishly fun.

I don't know d00d... the proportions and 'mistakes' sort of look like you meant to do them... I mean, I think everything in this piece works with one another :D

The proportions are intentional but there are a couple of things that don't quite add up correctly. :3

I do that too, staring at my pieces and finding all the little flaws they have...sometimes I use a mirror too. Looking at a picture reflected helps finding the mistakes, especially the symmetry-related ones^^

But, I think the proportions in your image are good. I mean, they work well togheter. But you said you already spotted the things you want to improve/change, so I'll just say I love the use of only four colours, black, white, red and gray. they're...so powerful togheter...I don't know how to explain it in a better way, sorry^^
And I also like the butterflies and the branches. Minimalistic ^^

Yeah. I tend to stare at them only after i finish though, which is the sad thing.

mirroring sounds like a good idea. I really ought to try it one day. xD

I like it... Except for the face. :ohnoes: I absolutely love the lower half though. If that counts for anything? ^^; And the butterflies and plant-y things.

his face is full of stylistic choices so you either hate it or you love it. xD That's the way it seems to go.
