i really like this pic. the sitting position looks a little awkward, but the overall perspective seems challenging though you pulled it off pretty well. the colors are soft and very artsy, and the facial expression of the character is very emotive.

oh the sitting position. i strayed from the ref slightly and because i don't really get anatomy quite yet i fudged a lot of it. :3 Perspective is a whore. >( But i'm glad i could do something good with it.

Awww speennnceer, he turned out soo lovely. His position is wonderful, i quite enjoy it, it's very..him. Poor Spencer, he just so happend to be a sad little coke head with some talent...sigh. But back to the drawing, as i've already told you many times you are awesome with character potrayal, you take the images in my mind and just, make them fucking appear, it's really quite awsome. I'm very fond of his shirt, i don't really know why, but it just completes the image perfectly, slightly baggy, light green long sleeve shirt for some reason scream Spencer.

I really enjoy his expression, it looks laid back and bored, like he's just been sitting there watching the same thing all day and taking notes...and prehaps he's slightly drugged up. Now for the part of the comment were i gush over a particular aspect of your artistic abilty, todays topic: your hands, your draw positively delishious hands. I don;t know why i haven't gushed over this before, because i have always admire your consistancy in produceing wonderful hands, they always appear so effortlessly elegant and i'm sure it can't be easy since the hand is an incredibly difficult part of the body to capture. I commend you for your talent, here's to you and your lovely hands, and now my comment is getting a bit too long so, enjoy!

Proportionally, yes, it is too small-- but both thumbs are drawn proportinally inaccurately the same... if that made any sense. i think what you notice is that the pen covers up the crease and further thumbness on that hand. or i could just be hallucinating on my pen placement, which is completely plausible.

I know what it is, his right leg would be a hellofalot longer than the left one...but w/e i wouldn't have noticed if so-and-so hadn't pointed out the sitting position...anyway i love this one. he totally looks like a fucked-up coke addict!! but yeah, awesome job...i think your two updates today are by far your best work yet
